Eliza Minney Appointed Equity Partner

It is our pleasure to announce and congratulate Eliza on being promoted to equity partner in clear recognition of her exceptional contributions to Best Hooper since joining in 2018. Eliza is a trusted adviser and has been instrumental in developing young lawyers in the Planning Team. She is an integral part of the firm’s broader practice. Giancarlo Romano Appointed Equity Partner

We are excited and proud to announce Gian will be joining as an equity partner. Since joining in 2017, Gian has contributed a wealth of experience and leadership to Best Hooper. Gian’s commercial acumen and dedication is demonstrated through the successes within his team and the exceptional outcomes for his clients. His leadership and mentoring style have resulted in tremendous growth within the Property Law and Transactions Team and cross collaboration within the firm. Gian was recently nominated as one of the 10 finalists in Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards 2023 and for a second consecutive year recognised as Real Estate Partner of the Year.

Chris Boocock Appointed Senior Associate

Chris is a rising star and a valuable member in the Planning team.  His promotion to Senior Associate is a reflection of his passion, hard work, outcome driven focus and legal skills in planning law and the development industry.

Andy Vicendese Appointed Senior Associate

Since joining Best Hooper, Andy has shown tremendous growth in his role with the disputes team. He is hardworking, affable, dedicated, and committed to delivering outstanding results for clients of the firm. He has made outstanding strides in his technical acumen in the delivery of legal services in recent years. His promotion to Senior Associate is in recognition of the attributes and qualities he brings to our practice.

Her promotion to Associate reflects her strong work ethic, commitment to excellence, and the invaluable contribution she makes to our firm and to the disputes team.

Amelia Toohey Appointed Associate

We are delighted to announce the well-deserved promotion of Amelia Toohey within our esteemed Property Law and Transactions Team. With over three years of exemplary service as a junior lawyer, Amelia has consistently demonstrated her passion for delivering outstanding client results assisting with large-scale subdivision projects, off-the-plan transactions, complex contract review and preparation, complex stamp duty assessments as well as processing registrations of plans, securities, covenants, caveats, owners corporations and estate administration. As she steps into her new role as an Associate, we are confident that Amelia will thrive in our Team and continue to provide legal support and guidance to our valued clients.
