Best Hooper Joins Australia Post’s Land Title Verification of Identity (VOI) Service

Best Hooper recently signed up for Australia Post’s Land Title Verification of Identity (VOI) service to provide a fast and simple way to help you satisfy the verification requirements. Since late 2015, VOI has been compulsory for paper conveyancing transactions lodged at Land Victoria. As a result, if you have a current matter with Best Hooper that involves a Land Registry transaction, such as a purchase, sale, transfer or variation of restriction, we are required to verify your identity before lodging the dealing.

This has involved a face-to-face meeting in viewing and certifying copies of current identity documents from one of the required categories, however, you now have the option of completing the VOI at Australia Post outlets.

Australia Post currently charges a $39 fee for this service.
