Industry leading lawyer, Daniel Faigen, joined Best Hoopers growing team in 2023, with the establishment of our new unique practice group – Private and Project Advisory.

Daniel and his team offers a wealth of first-hand development experience to our existing client base, expanding our practice offering in specialty niche areas of construction, finance and project delivery.

Having previously playing an instrumental role as Director, Group Counsel and Development Director for leading family offices in Australia, Daniel has negotiated over $2bn of construction contracts and property finance nationwide and overseen delivery of major mixed use, residential, office and hotel projects. He now offers that unique wealth of experience to our existing clientelle. 

Our Private and Project Advisory Team has a particular focus on:

• Construction Contracts (including front-end reviews of complex construction facilities, negotiations and advices)
• Property Finance (review and advices on construction finance facilities, security arrangements and private and mezzanine lending)
• Project Advisory (general project advisory during planning, construction and transaction with key stakeholders)
• Family office and private wealth (family investment strategies, agreements for generational wealth and family succession planning)
