We are delighted to announce the appointment of our newest Principal Lawyer Giancarlo Romano as head of our Property Law and Transactions Team.

We are excited to have Giancarlo onboard as an innovative leader within this Team which continues to provide property law services to sophisticated developer clientele as well as first time investors or home buyers.

Giancarlo Romano joined Best Hooper in 2017 as a talented Senior Associate and has over 9 years of experience in property law. He has been instrumental to the growth of the Property Law and Transactions Team in recent years given the push that the industry has experienced toward the digital era. In this time he has streamlined processes at Best Hooper to offer our clients the most efficient and cost-effective ways of facilitating all types of property transactions.

He has also grown his practice in all areas of retail and commercial leasing; particularly establishing a wealth of experience in childcare centre projects from development through to completion.
His ongoing efforts and pro-bono assistance during the Covid-19 pandemic to assist agents, landlords and tenants of commercial leases in navigating these uncertain times are a testament to his character.

As recently as last month, Giancarlo was also nominated as one of just 10 lawyers nationally for the ‘Senior Associate of the Year Award’ at the 2020 Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards.
