Amelia joined Best Hooper Disputes and Litigation Team in September 2022 bringing a range of property law experience to the practice.
Having completed her Bachelor of Laws from Deakin, Amelia was admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Victoria in March 2021, where she joined a boutique law firm as a member of the Planning and Environment team. Prior to admission Amelia was a Senior Paralegal working with a highly regarded barrister for some years with a focus of property litigation matters before the Supreme and County Courts.
Amelia works across a range of contentious property law matters including within the following areas:
- Adverse possession
- Boundary encroachments and fencing disputes
- Private nuisance, including water run-off and noise interference
- Restrictive covenants
- Easements
- Roads and public highways at common law
- Building disputes
- Owners Corporations matters
Amelia grew up in regional Victoria, moving to Melbourne to pursue Law. Amelia is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria
